We do not hire for every position year-round, but we regularly hear from professionals, students and future behavioral-health workers who are interested in becoming part of the recovery field.

Working at Present Moments Recovery

Our work is centered on helping people and families navigate substance-use treatment with compassion, accountability and professional care.

Depending on our current needs, opportunities may involve different areas of addiction treatment, behavioral health, client support, operations and administration.

Positions and staffing needs change throughout the year, so submitting an inquiry does not mean that a position is currently available or guarantee an interview or employment.

Internships & Student Placements

Present Moments Recovery also receives internship and student-placement inquiries from colleges and training programs throughout the San Diego area.

Students may contact PMR when they need supervised experience, fieldwork or other practical training to help satisfy requirements established by their school or educational program.

Availability depends on several factors, including:

PMR's current staffing and supervision capacity
the student's area of study
school or program requirements
scheduling and placement availability
whether the proposed experience is appropriate for PMR's current programs

Submitting an internship or placement inquiry does not guarantee that PMR can accept a student for a particular term or program.
